Prepare and use a briefing

Alta prepares a briefing from your priorities, meetings, commitments, and anything you added, and shows where each line came from.

Steps

Your first briefing is written at the end of setup. Open it from the setup page or from In progress.
Each weekday morning Alta prepares the week’s Monday briefing, and from Friday the wrap-up. Open them from This week.
To have a briefing written now, open it from This week and press the button to build it.
Read each line with its source. Where a line asks you to confirm something, nothing changes until you do.
To receive the Monday briefing by email, turn it on under Settings, Email delivery.

Without documents, the first briefing is an initial planning brief built only from what you told Alta, and it says so.
